I chose the terms "Visual Literacy," "Visual Thinking," "Semiotics," "Visual Images," and "Iconicity" because they help us understand and interpret visual information, which is crucial for effective communication with visuals.
"Visual Literacy" involves the ability to read and interpret visual messages, while "Visual Thinking" uses images to develop ideas. On the other hand, "Semiotics" studies signs and symbols and their meaning in visuals. "Visual Images" refers to the actual pictures or graphics, and "Iconicity" examines how closely an image resembles what it represents, enhancing our understanding. Together, these concepts offer insights into creating and interpreting visual messages.
